Cibes lifts are designed and manufactured in our factory in Sweden and distributed in more than 50 countries via our subsidiaries and network of 200 certified distributors. Our headquarters and factory are located under one roof in Gävle to keep perfect control of our product quality, values and brand. OUR HISTORY

The story of Cibes began in 1947, when Swedish innovator Mr Bertil Svedberg founded a manufacturing company of goods lifts. During the 1960’s, the first generation of home lifts was launched and shortly thereafter, the first series of platform lifts.

This was the beginning of the great journey, which made us into what we are today: A global company, still firmly rooted in Sweden.

In 2008, Cibes became part of the Cibes Lift Group and in 2012 we moved our headquarters and factory to Gävle (200 km North of Stockholm). Gävle is the heart of our company today.

Cibes Lift Group has subsidiaries in 11 countries and we deliver lifts to 50 countries through our global network of 200 distributors. In 2013 to 2015, subsidiaries were started up in Finland, Belgium, Hong Kong, Norway, China, Spain and France, all countries with considerable market potential. The Group’s direct sales are supplemented by sales through an extensive network of distributors in 50 countries. Cibes international expansion takes place under the motto.

Cibes Lift MENA was founded in UAE in 2016, with vision of being closer to its customers and business partners in the Middle East and North Africa Region. We are currently the market leader in the Space-Saving Elevator industry and have successfully delivered more than 1,000 lifts to 16 countries in MENA.
